Liochat is operated by ELLVARA X LIMITED (“we”, “us”). This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use liochat.com, the agent web inbox, the Liochat mobile apps, and the visitor chat widget. Questions: [email protected].
Account holders. Name, email, password (stored hashed), profile details you choose to add, workspace and website settings, plan and billing status, device push tokens if you enable notifications, and logs needed to run the product (for example sign-in and error logs).
Visitors. Chat messages, optional pre-chat fields (such as name or email if the site owner turns those on), pages viewed during a session, typing and presence, and technical data such as IP address and browser type that are used to operate realtime chat and security.
Payments. If you subscribe, checkout is handled by our payment processor. We keep transaction references and plan status. We do not store full card numbers.
We process account-holder data to perform the contract for Liochat, to meet legal obligations (for example tax records on paid plans), and for legitimate interests such as security and product operation. Visitor chat data is processed to provide the service the site owner requested. Where a law requires consent (for example certain cookies or marketing), we ask for it.
We do not sell personal data. We share it only as needed to run Liochat:
Agents in a workspace see the visitor conversations for websites they belong to. Site owners are responsible for telling their visitors about chat on their own sites.
We keep account and chat data while the workspace is active and for a limited period afterward as needed for backups, billing, and legal claims. If you delete your account we remove or anonymise personal data we no longer need, except records we must keep (for example completed payments).
You can access and update your profile in the app or web inbox. You can delete your Liochat account from Profile → Delete account (mobile) or the matching control on the web profile page. Deletion removes the account and the websites you own, including related chats and settings, subject to the retention note above.
Depending on where you live you may also have rights to access, correct, export, or object to certain processing. Email [email protected] and we will handle the request.
We use cookies and local storage that are required to keep you signed in, remember a visitor chat session, and keep the product working. Analytics or advertising cookies are not the purpose of Liochat.
Liochat is built for businesses and their website visitors. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Liochat is hosted on servers that may be outside your country. We take steps appropriate to the service (including contracts with processors) so that data stays protected in line with this policy.
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy. Material changes will be posted on this page.
